Adhesion Testing
Contact adhesion between two materials is an important industrial test for various products, including packaging, adhesives, and coatings.
The maximum detachment force test is the simplest way to quantify the strength of the adhesion.
Sumea brings accuracy, repeatability, and versatility to the test.

Testing Process
The test can be conducted with almost any adhesive strength, geometry, and also in varying conditions, such as high humidity, low temperature or even under-liquid. It is done in three steps: push in, wait, and pull off.

Test configurations
The adhesion test can be done in various configurations depending on what kind of interface is in question. In all cases the contact to the measurement tip should be stronger than the interface under testing, for example via use of a strong glue.

Anti-stiction coating performance test
Anti-stiction testing. When ahdesion of a surface should be minimal, for example in anti-fouling or self-cleaning surfaces
