Surface Wettability Test
The interaction of a liquid on a surface depends heavily on the properties of the surface and can be sensitive even for minor change. Therefore, testing surface wettability gives much useful information on the quality of the surface, and the information can either be used for designing surfaces with specific liquid-to-solid interaction properties, such as hydrophobic coatings, or simply as a quality control measure in various different surface fabrication processes.

Testing Process
Surface wettability can be tested with two modes with Sumea: Wetting adhesion and Wetting friction. Adhesion tests the attractivity/repellency of a surface to the liquid while friction tests the liquid's ability to move on the surface.
